Glowing skin isn't just from good genes. What you eat can also help your skin function at its best, so it produces healthy new skin cells. Some vitamins and antioxidants are especially helpful for cell turnover and strengthening skin cells, including beta-carotene, vitamin C, collagen, polyphenols and omega-3 fats, according to nutritionist Joy Bauer. She recommends ground flaxseeds, strawberries, kale and matcha tea powder as great foods for healthy, glowing skin.
